I am a 22 year old college student who's decided to take massive action towards becoming a established web designer.

I'm Ryan!
I've been on the web since the late 90's, but I haven't spent much time focusing on web design or seriously considered it an option for my career until now. I'd consider myself having an intermediate profeciency with HTML, CSS, PS, and Wordpress.

My goals

  1. Spend >450 hrs of focused effort on web design this summer (90 days)
  2. Develop at least 3 HTML/CSS/PHP pages and 1 fully dynamic wordpress theme
  3. Learn more HTML, CSS, PHP, Wordpress, and graphic design than I ever have
  4. Build friendships in the web design community and establish myself as a eager student of design

Are you a designer?

I am a believer of the mentor-disciple framework. I have always been eager to seek out wise counsel in all areas of my life, and I desire more than anything to find a established web designer who would take me under his wing (I live outside LA). I am very able to learn from a self-taught method, but I desire a mentor who will set me up with challenges, keep me accountable, direct me and correct me. If you want to help me this summer, please contact me. I'd be happy to take an online mentor as well.
